Gate-climbing and fine-paying

West Ham U 1 - Man U 2

Alritey folks, here's a cursory glance of whut transpired in

the spellbinding clash between the two clubs.

Man U hearts sunk to an all-time low as their misery

was compounded by an early goal from Marlon Harewood.

It proves to be the only worthy celebration WHU could

have all night as they had to deal with the menacing threat

of Wayne "The Bulldog" Rooney and the Korean Kimchi

Park Ji-sung. Both combined well as they set up

v.Nistelrooy in the 12th minute. But the Dutchman seem

to have lost the sting in his shot as it bobbled towards

Carroll who had no complications dealing with it.

As Man U pounded on the pressure, Carroll seem to be

getting more and more ruthless and stopped almost

any sphere coming his way.

That was until Park showed a brillo turn and set up

Rooney, who sidestepped his marker and unleashed a

vicious shot through the gaping legs of Carroll.

O'shea completed a stunning comeback as he rose highest

to power in MU's 2nd to thee dismay of his ex-custodian.

A great game of football where both sides produced great

entertainment in excellent sportsmanship.

Big disappointment that Saha or Cristiano weren't

deployed and Fletcher was AGAIN given a start.
