Chalet Malay

Reluctantly clutching my Puma bag and adjusting my shades, I left

my house with sucha heavy heart to spent 3 days away from my

family.

At Costa Sands =)

It started off pretty disappointing frankly as I had dressed up and

all that, in the hope of THAT divine moment. But it simply NEVER

materialised. Once again, I was left to bite the dust.

Sucha cruel way to start of what was suppose to be a joyful

endeavour.

Anyway, here's the breakdown of things that occured; the moment

we shared pleasantries, till the moment they(not me) stank so bad

we just had to part.Heh.

1st Day

Everyone's eyes were transfixed on the tv screen as mini digitised

characters of Cisse, Ferdinand and what have you pit their skills

in the realms of the idiot box. Spirits were high as one by one

arrived at the house with knick knacks, drinks and toothy grins

of excitement.

At night, we set out to East Coast in cabs to rent our bikes and

journey around part of Singapore in the still of the night.

There were more than 10 people.

And did we have fun.

The sight of Sudheesh and Amin on the double bike easily

reduced me to stitches. The Indian Mobile I'd dubbed them.

We toiled up steep slopes and cruised down breezy downhills as

some unleashed their third eye to see the classic floating white

figures, and cabs with passengers one moment and none the next.

Darren, alvo and HR had to endure a painful night as they were the

only casulties, though minor, of the trip.

A road trip to remember; with memories never to be forgotten.

2nd Day

Was a relatively inactive day with only the BBQ the highlight of

the evening. Pigged out like tomorrow never dies and we

'pengkang' the foodstuffs even faster than you can say

octopussy.

Filled our stomachs, interacted well with friends tho some have

that propensity to be biatches and shared more than our-fill of

laughter.

3rd day

Nothing could be more interesting than relating stories of yester

night. Who snored the loudest? Who slept like a log?

Who kicked who, where?

Apparently, I slept through quite a turbulent period in the

house like a baby (cute) and woke up a fresher man.

Others were not so lucky.

Checked out and Wild Wild Wet ensued.

8 free tix were given out, so what the hell, 8of us guys

stripped to our shorts and anticipated what the

water theme park could offer.

Apprehension was high on my list as I had a phobia for slides,

water and more water.

In the end, I turned out to be the braver souls there.

Plenty of skin on show, sun to soak in and THAT one ride that

will justify the price tag:

The Slide up.

But they sure could do with shafts.

The walk up the stairs is a freakin turn-off.

AND ...

It would have been a whole lot better if she was there.

Just maybe.

Girl, gimme a chance.
