Turnout, turnout PL111

The clock read 1215am.
The BOC attachments were deep in slumberland.
Disappointed that Central didnt even have a major fire call the whole day, the cadets decided to throw in the towel and rest their fatigued bodies in the Admin Office.

A fire call sounded.
No one flinched.
It resounded.
One of em' got up looked around groggily.
It permeated from the PA system for the third time.
One cadet flew off from his perch and the remaining two followed suit.
In hot pursuit of the DO PL111 and the Special Appliance CP111.

We made it in the nick of time and proceeded to don our protective gear in the crammed sardine tin can we termed the Fireman's Cabin.
A close inspection of the situation confirmed the fire to be at Zion Road, adjacent to Jiak Kim Street, home of you know ... drunk girls and drunk girlsssss.

As the PL passed by the unit on fire, thick black smoke billowed out from the apartment and increases my beatrate as I struggled donning.
Getting my BA sets on, I brought the breaking tools to the fire floor and proceeded to evacuate the neighbouring units with help from the LF crew (Red Rhino) from Alex.

We came, we saw and we cliched.
The fire got put out by Sgt Asyik and the meticulous and troublesome process of locating the owner, the witnesses, the caller and liasing with the other men in blue began.

The Fire Investigation Team (FIT) made their way to the unit to determine the cause and the origin of fire. I went in to the unit to assess the unit from whatever angle I fathomed was possible. Wires from the ceiling were hung astrewn, the air conditioning unit melted into a sculpted mess due to the radiant heat. Soot damaged the entire house and rather fortuitously helped us with our investigation providing burn patterns and so forth.

I interacted with Sgt Asyik and he went about how he approached the unit and how he determined the seat of fire and how he used the fire as light to search for casualty and source for ventilation.

The operation lasted a good 3 hours as the PO, the firefighter and me shared a sumptous meal of Prata telur at PL locker no.4.

That was my first fire.
Zion Road.
And the bevy of beauties walking by made the task even more lucrative.
